Sydney has a diverse and vibrant nightlife, with a broad range of social, cultural and leisure opportunities available for locals and visitors between 6pm and 6am, across the food, drink, arts, cultural and entertainment industries. It is estimated to produce $3.64 billion in revenue per year, involving over 4,600 businesses employing over 32,000 people.

State and local governments are committed to growing a vibrant, safe and diverse night-time economy to enhance Sydney’s standing as a global city, and making the city a safe and great place to live, work and visit.

The Sydney at Night panel features City of Sydney and Create NSW discussing the current state of the night-time economy, new initiatives in development, and how the City and NSW Government are working together and independently to support a vibrant, safe and sustainable night-time economy.
